Ganesh Festival is Positive Vibes

Hi! Friends, Hope you are all healthy and fine. Today’s wellness Blog is about Ganesh Festival is Positive Vibes. We are between the festive celebrations and I am sure many must be experiencing the positive vibes during this beautiful Festival. And if you are based in Mumbai, Pune, or any other city in Maharashtra the celebrations & vibes are even more magical. From Agman (bringing Ganpati Bappa to your home or to a pandal), feasting on Modaks & other sweets, Evening Aarti, visiting pandals & your friends’ place to seek Bappa’s blessings, to Ganesh visarjan procession every activity during the Ganesh festival is positive vibes.

Since there is a Ganesh Pandal below my building I experience the positive vibes each day during the festival. We are so immersed in our daily activities that we never get that well-deserved break. Ganesh Festival gives you that break from your routine. Evening Aarti is yet another activity that comes loaded with positive vibes. People gathering together and singing Aarti in unison is simply amazing. For 11 days Aartis are performed every morning & evening at homes or Ganesh Pandals.

Most of the Ganesh Pandals organize Satyanarayan Puja during the festival which is yet another occasion of spirituality & positivity. And that Satyanarayan Pooja prasadam which is a super special type of sheera tastes absolutely divine. Some Ganesh Pandals also organize games & other programs for kids which are full of fun & laughter. And for me, those late nights at Ganpati Pandal is yet another dose of positivity during the festival. Interacting with friends, or just sitting quietly in pandal and looking at Bappa is an act of amazing positivity coupled with spirituality.

If you are a Mumbai-Kar one of the monumental tasks is to seek LalbaugchaRaja blessings that too without reference. Those lucky souls who are able to achieve this task & post photos of themselves with Raja are special individuals in the Social Media space and are likely to get more followers. Also visiting traditional Ganesh Pandals like Ganesh Galli, Chinchpokli, Teju Kaya, and Khetwadi & witnessing beautiful idols of Ganpati Bappa are sure to ignite positive vibes. And yes going to take Bappa’s Darshan with your family & friends can be a perfect stress buster you might be craving for a long time.

Visarjan, which is probably only the procession during the festival disappoints us as our beloved Lord Ganesha is all set and ready to depart to his home. However, the visarjan procession full of devotional songs, Dol Tasha Pathaks, and Banjos help in lifting the mood. And yes I don’t agree with Bollywood songs & other unwanted activities done during the visarjan procession but since the Blog like all my other blogs is about positive vibes, I am not elaborating much over the same. Once the visarjan is done we bid adieu to our beloved Ganpati Bappa with heavy hearts and immense gratitude. With chants of “Pudhachya Varshi Lavkar Ya” echoing during the visarjan procession devotees tell their beloved Bappa to come early next year in the form of joy, blessing & happiness.
