The Love Story of Betrayal #FromHisDiary #Short Stories #Story1 #Part4 #BandraBandwith

It was Friday evening a day before the Bandra  Bandwith  & I really enjoyed the Cyber Crime training. Interacting with Cyber Crime experts & meeting a few Govt. Officials were indeed exciting and for someone like me who wanted to serve the country by using my Cyber knowledge & AI skills, it was indeed a lifetime opportunity. Last 5 days it was like getting up at 6, reaching the Training Centre, and coming home at 11 at night. So there was no interaction with Rabia. May be some messages here and there. So once I reached home on Friday at 9 PM and said “Hi” to her, she replied to me with a series of Messages …

I have been missing you,

Last five days. Just Hi, Hello Messages,

Please let me know when to Call,

I want to hear your voice…

Just one week or so after knowing each other that too online, How can someone start missing the person so badly? B****Y online world. Love is turning into an attraction of sorts with new options available in abundance.  Before my reply, she called me directly but I cut the call as I was having dinner with my parents. Once I reached my room I called Rabia and it was a long long call that lasted for an eternity. Finally, I ended the call & fixed up a meeting with her on Saturday at Noon which was Tomorrow.

It was 1 PM when I entered Lucky Café at Bandra & she was waiting for me outside. Those blue eyes & her fair skin tone made me recognize her easily. She was wearing a dark green Punjabi suit with a dupatta having decorations of various flowers. She may be in her early twenties & as soon as we met each other there was a bandwidth between us which I called Bandra Bandwith. I was wearing a blue T-shirt and a Cargo along with my favorite sneakers. She was staring at me and I was all glued to those beautiful blue eyes. A man can spend his entire life by looking at those eyes.

All of a sudden we realized that it was time to have food so we went inside the Air Conditioned hall. She marched towards the corner table and I was following her. Just a family and a couple were in the restaurant so it was quite silent. It was our first meeting so I was a bit nervous but she looked comfortable. She initiated the conversation which was basically an introduction. She introduced herself as a Girl from Iraq who was in India to pursue a Management degree.  She was looking so happy meeting me which was quite visible from her smiling face.

After spending a few minutes glaring at each other it was time to order Food. She ordered Chicken Biryani to which I objected. The reason being I was a pure-veg. After knowing this her smiling face became a little serious but she agreed to share Veg Biryani with me. I told her we don’t eat Non-Veg for religious reasons, however, for her non-veg was a necessity. She told me I would adjust to Veg to which I was surprised. She changed the subject and we continued interacting on various topics.

Even though we were meeting for the first time, I felt some connection between us. I strongly believe that “We meet some person for a reason” & there was some special reason I was meeting this Blue-Eyed Iraqi Girl. It was almost an hour and Veg Biryani was followed by a Royal Falooda which was Rabia’s favourite sweet dish. As the lunch was about to end Rabia got a bit serious.

She got personal and started narrating her story of growing up in a war-torn country like Iraq. The trouble faced by Iraqi women and how she overcame all the obstacles and came to India for further studies. Rabia was not aware of where her mother was as her father used to tell her that she left us when Rabia was small. So for her father, Rabia was the world and it was the same for Rabia. While opening up about her struggles her blue eyes got wet and I tried my best to console her. After wiping her tears she looked at me held my hand and said

“You are very special to me”?. You are the person I can believe after my father & she started crying. All this was overwhelming for me and I knew that this Bandra Bandwith was about to create something extraordinary.

Here is the 3rdPart in case you missed it
