The Love Story of Betrayal #FromHisDiary #ShortStories #Story1 #Part9 #JudgementDay

I was awake all night and knew the same would be true with Rabia. We were both sleeping in different rooms and I woke up as soon as it was 5 AM.  I went to Rabia’s room to wake her up, she was already awake. She told me jokingly “After marriage, every day you will wake me up at 5 AM sharp”, to which I responded with a smile. For me, it was Judgement Day and I was wondering how this female can be so Kool even in this situation. We both got ready and Rabia took out an interesting device that looked like a smartphone and called her dad. The call lasted for around 2 Minutes and it was in Arabic. After the call & knowing about the curiosity over the device, she said “This is a smartphone type device without any SIM card through which you can co-ordinate with the only person that too from anywhere in the world. My dad is using this device as well”. So no one can trace our whereabouts. I asked Rabia to show the device to me out of curiosity and she did the needful. All of a sudden I remembered that I was not finding my smartphone & requested her to search the same in her room”.

She went inside and I checked her device and once done I called her and told her that my smartphone was on the TV cabinet and handed her the device she had used to co-ordinate with her father. Now it was time to go and we both reached the hotel’s helipad. The helicopter had already arrived with some flag on it. The helicopter pilot smiled at Rabia and insisted both of us to board the helicopter. The travel time was around 2 Hours & Rabia instructed me to be completely silent for some time. After interacting with the helicopter pilot she told me in a soft tone that “he is my dad’s most trusted person so it’s better we don’t interact much with each other. Apart from my Dad, everyone else is thinking that you are yet another victim of Honey Trap who is going to Syria with me. So let’s keep it that way”. After hearing this the Judgement Day alarms were even much louder in my mind.

After a couple of hours of flight our Helicopter landed in some city in Iraq and I asked Rabia “Is this the destination where your dad is about to meet us? She said “NO. We are going to Syria, in my dad’s kingdom. Due to security concerns, my father told me to come to Syria from Iraq by Road. He has sent five bulletproof cars for us. In one we will be sitting and the other four will be with us throughout the Journey. There are four people in each car with fully loaded sten guns in case of emergency. The distance between Iraq & Syria is around seven hours and the journey will be tough. There are terrorist camps throughout the road but Dad has assured me proper care will be taken of you guys”. I knew this was not a time to panic but to be bold. I told Rabia “Don’t worry I believe in you and the security provided by your Dad. Come let’s go to Syria. Rabia herself was going to drive the Lamborghini which was sent by her Dad. The reason is that she can interact with me properly. So she requested the chauffeur to take a seat in some other car to which he agreed but with a bit of hesitancy.

Rabia was now in full control of the steering in the same way she was in control of the situation. She gave some instructions to security personnel and off we went to Syria. The road was very empty so Rabia was driving at more than 100 speed. She said to me “The road we are taking now is termed as the most dangerous route in the world. The small houses you see on the side are mostly terrorist camps. There are few locals here but their job is to help these terrorists. She also warned me not to speak much when they meet Rabia’s Dad. I know how to convince my Dad so after introducing you to him it’s better you remain silent”. After driving non-stop for around six hours it was around 5 PM and we halted at a Tea Joint. It was the Syrian border and the only Tea Joint along the way. We drank the famous Eshai Syria Aniseed Tea (Shai bil Yansoon) and it tasted extraordinary. This Tea was the only thing I enjoyed on my so-called Judgment Day. After the Tea Break was over we sat in our Car & Rabia told me that now we are heading towards my dad’s territory. The entire region belongs to us and no one has ever entered here apart from my Dad’s trusted team members. I said “Fine” and was curiously looking outside. There were tankers on the road and in a few areas even I heard the sound of bomb blasts. Rabia smiled & said, “Don’t worry these are all practice sessions for the next terrorist attack”.  The situation was really terrifying and I wondered what these people are made of. Don’t they fear death? Don’t they have hearts? Are they really humans?

As I was thinking this Rabia stopped the Lamborghini in front of a massive cave & instructed the security people to go away & told me to enter the cave. We walked for a minute or so and immediately I noticed steps going down. Rabia told me to come down from the steps. We went downstairs and were inside a glorious mansion. It was the home of Rabia and her Dad. In this mansion, Rabia’s Dad stayed along with Rabia and just two domestic help for making food & taking care of the mansion. Rabia breathed a sigh of relief now and was looking ecstatic. The reason was that the person she loved the most was now at her home. After a few minutes, her dad (One of the world’s most dangerous terrorists) arrived and he was extremely happy after seeing her daughter after a long time.

Rabia introduced me to her Dad & he replied to her “I was very angry earlier but now very happy about your decision. The reason is I want you to live a normal life as I have already lost my son in this freedom struggle. The guy you want to marry is from the country I hate most but I respect his courage. You need a brave heart like him. Coming to meet me at the world’s most dangerous location shows his courage and I am sure he will keep you happy forever.” Then he said to me “Keep my daughter happy, at times even I regret following this path but for me, there is no way back. I will keep fighting till my last breath for my people. But you guys stay happy together and as soon as possible try to settle in some middle-east country “. I said fine & bowed down to him.  This gesture impressed the old man & his daughter. He ordered us to stay overnight at his mansion and tomorrow morning there will be a special charter flight that will take you both to Dubai. Rabia was very happy upon hearing this and there were tears of joy rolling down her beautiful pink cheeks. The judgement day eventually unfolded as a memorable day for myself and Rabia.
